In the midst of her plan for revenge, Jean decides to embark on a luxury ocean liner, knowing that Charles will be on board for a cruise. There, she disguises herself as Lady Eve Sidwich, an elegant and sophisticated Englishwoman with high social status.

Jean's new persona catches the attention of Charles, who is instantly captivated by her beauty and charm. Ignorant of her true identity, Charles falls in love with Lady Eve, completely unaware that she is the same woman he previously dumped.
