In Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives, Tommy Jarvis, still haunted by his previous encounters with Jason Voorhees, returns to the Crystal Lake cemetery with his friend Allen Hawes. Their plan is to exhume Jason's corpse and cremate it, hoping to finally put an end to the relentless cycle of murders.
As they dig up Jason's grave and prepare to dispose of his remains, Tommy cannot resist the temptation to make sure that Jason is truly dead. In a desperate attempt to prove his theory, he impales Jason's body with a metal rod during a rainstorm.
