In this remake of the original classic film Night of the Living Dead, a group of strangers find themselves seeking refuge inside a secluded farmhouse as a terrifying zombie outbreak sweeps across the country. As the night grows darker, tensions rise within the group. They must work together to survive not only the relentless onslaught of flesh-eating zombies, but also the paranoia and fear that begin to tear them apart from within.

The group consists of Barbara, a traumatized young woman who witnessed her brother being attacked by the undead; Ben, a resourceful and level-headed man who takes charge in organizing their defense; Harry, a selfish and antagonistic husband who frequently clashes with Ben; Helen, Harry's pregnant wife who desperately tries to keep peace within the group; Judy, a young and naive woman who seeks comfort in the arms of Tom, her loving boyfriend; and Tom, a resourceful and loyal member of the group who helps fortify the farmhouse against the encroaching zombies.

As the night progresses, they discover a radio broadcast indicating that the local authorities are setting up rescue stations for survivors. However, the group soon realizes that the only way to reach safety is to navigate through hordes of ravenous zombies. Their hopes are further diminished when they notice that the zombies are starting to show signs of intelligence and coordination, making it even more challenging for the group to escape their deathly grasp.

Inside the farmhouse, tensions escalate as fear and desperation take hold. The conflict between Ben and Harry intensifies, largely due to Harry's resentment towards Ben's dominance over the others. The members of the group engage in heated debates about survival strategies and struggle with internal power struggles, ultimately endangering their chance of making it out alive.

As the zombie army relentlessly tries to break into the farmhouse, the group must face their own fears and differences to find a way out. They attempt various escape plans, encountering numerous obstacles and losses along the way. However, in the final climactic confrontation, only a few survivors manage to break free from the farmhouse, using the diversion caused by one brave person sacrificing themselves to help the others escape.

Ultimately, Night of the Living Dead explores the horrific nature of the human condition in the face of an apocalyptic catastrophe. The film delves into themes of paranoia, survival instinct, and the fragile alliances formed in times of crisis, examining how individuals react when pushed to their limits.
