In Addams Family Values, the plot revolves around the Addams family, an eccentric, macabre, and wealthy family. The film begins with Morticia and Gomez Addams having a new addition to their family, a baby boy named Pubert. While Gomez and Morticia adore Pubert, Wednesday and Pugsley, the elder Addams siblings, are jealous of the attention he receives and are determined to get rid of him.

Meanwhile, the family hires a new nanny named Debbie Jellinsky, who is secretly a gold-digging serial killer referred to as the "black widow." Debbie sets her sights on marrying and murdering Uncle Fester, who is exceedingly wealthy. She quickly wins over the other Addams family members, except Wednesday, who becomes suspicious of her intentions.

At Camp Chippewa, the Addams children are forced to attend summer camp due to Morticia's insistence on their proper socialization. Wednesday and Pugsley, outcasts due to their dark and peculiar nature, rebel against the camp's strict rules and cheerful atmosphere. They soon become friends with the outcast members of the camp, including Amanda, a mean-spirited girl whose parents own the camp.

Meanwhile, Debbie successfully seduces Fester and convinces him to marry her. The Addams family members prepare for the wedding, completely unaware of Debbie's true intentions. Wednesday, suspicious of Debbie, investigates her past and discovers her multiple deceased husbands, leading her to expose Debbie's true nature to the family.

During the wedding ceremony, Wednesday publicly confronts Debbie, revealing her evil plans and crimes. Though initially ridiculed, Wednesday's accusations are proven true when she produces evidence of Debbie's past husbands. An intense fight ensues, with Morticia, Gomez, Fester, and the Addams family rallying against Debbie.

In the climactic finale, the family comes together and defeats Debbie, trapping her in a giant electrocution machine, where she meets her demise. The Addams family is then reunited and celebrates their victory, with Wednesday and Pugsley finally accepting Pubert as their brother.

Addams Family Values is a dark comedy that explores themes of family, acceptance, and the power of sibling bonds. While it maintains the signature gothic style and macabre humor of the original Addams Family, the film delves deeper into the characters and their relationships, offering a heartwarming tale alongside the dark humor.
