In the small blue-collar town, the Dandies, led by their charismatic and idealistic leader Dick Dandelion, form an unlikely gang of gunslingers. Despite carrying guns, they strictly adhere to a pacifist code and consider themselves a noble group. The members of the gang include various teenagers, each with their own unique reasons for joining the group.

One day, Sebastian, the timid and introverted grandson of Clarabelle, Dick's childhood nanny, seeks refuge with the Dandies. Sebastian is fearful of the dangerous rival gangs that exist in the town and believes that joining the Dandies will give him a sense of protection. The gang, seeing Sebastian's vulnerability and their affection for Clarabelle, agrees to let him join.

As the Dandies try to peacefully coexist within the town, tension begins to rise. The rival gangs become increasingly aggressive, leading to a series of violent encounters that test the Dandies' commitment to their pacifist principles. Despite their initial reluctance to engage in violence, circumstances force them to question their beliefs and the effectiveness of their pacifist approach.

Dick, the leader of the group, grapples with the evolving dynamics and his role as a pacifist gunslinger. He finds himself torn between his own ideals and the need to protect his friends and loved ones, including Clarabelle and Sebastian. These conflicting emotions lead to a dramatic shift in the gang's approach, challenging their resolve as they navigate the treacherous world they now find themselves in.

As events unfold, the gang's commitment to pacifism is put to the ultimate test. In a gripping climax, the Dandies must make difficult choices, making their stance on nonviolence even more complicated. Through their struggles as gunslingers and protectors, the Dandies are forced to confront the harsh realities of their town, their own convictions, and the consequences of their actions.

Dear Wendy explores themes of morality, loyalty, and personal growth amidst a backdrop of violence and conflicting principles. It delves into the complexities of youthful idealism, the struggle to reconcile one's beliefs with the harsh realities of the world, and the blurred lines between pacifism and self-defense.
