In the movie "Bandits," Simon Verini is a skilled fence who orchestrates a heist of a fortune in jewels from Cartiers with a youthful gang. However, on the same day, as the famous actor Jean Gabin dies, tragedy strikes Simon's life. His wife is murdered by a kidnapper who also steals the stolen jewels.
As the prime suspect in both the theft and the murder, Simon is framed for the crimes and sentenced to ten years in prison.
