In "Catch Me," Lee Ho-tae (Joo Won) is a police detective who has always harbored a deep crush on Yoon Jin-sook (Kim Ah-joong) since their high school days. The two of them were inseparable best friends, and Ho-tae had always believed that Jin-sook reciprocated his feelings. However, due to certain circumstances, they drifted apart during their teenage years.

After a decade, fate brings Ho-tae and Jin-sook back together again. Ho-tae is thrilled to reunite with his first love, hoping to finally confess his feelings and possibly pursue a romantic relationship. However, he is taken aback when he discovers that Jin-sook is now a notorious hit-and-runner, constantly involved in car accidents and escaping the scene.

Despite this shocking revelation, Ho-tae remains determined to understand and help Jin-sook. He decides to use his position as a detective to secretly investigate the hit-and-run cases she is involved in, believing there must be a deeper reason behind her behavior. Amidst the chaos, Ho-tae realizes that he must make a difficult decision: either arrest Jin-sook for her hit-and-run crimes or protect the woman he still loves.
