In the movie Almost Che, Kang Dae-oh is not only struggling to gain the confidence to confess his feelings to Ye-rin, but also faces numerous challenges in his personal and professional life. As a below-average guy, he has always felt invisible in a world where only handsome men seem to have romantic opportunities.

Aside from his romantic aspirations, Kang Dae-oh dreams of becoming a successful screenwriter. Despite having a passion for writing and a vivid imagination, he has not been able to break into the competitive film industry. Determined to change his circumstances, he decides to take on a part-time job as a delivery guy at a Chinese restaurant to make ends meet. Through this job, he becomes acquainted with various characters, leading to both comical and poignant interactions.

Throughout the film, Kang Dae-oh's friendships and experiences shape his growth as a person.
