The movie "Made in China" tells the story of Zhao, a lonely and introverted middle-aged man from Guangzhou, China who lives with his mother and struggles to find his place in the world. He works in a factory, assembling small trinkets and dolls to be sold internationally.

One day, Zhao receives news that his estranged brother, Liu, has died in Brazil while running a successful business. In order to honor his brother's memory and fulfill his dying wish, Zhao decides to travel to Brazil and take over his brother's business, which happens to be a wholesale sex toy company. With little knowledge of the adult industry, Zhao embarks on a hilarious and sometimes awkward journey filled with cultural clashes and unexpected challenges.

Upon arriving in Brazil, Zhao meets a quirky and flamboyant salesman named Tonico, who becomes his guide and partner in this unusual venture. As they work together to establish a new market for Chinese-made sex toys, Zhao starts to come out of his shell and discovers a newfound confidence.

Throughout his journey, Zhao encounters various eccentric characters, including Barbara, a sassy and confident Brazilian woman who works as a sex toy tester, and Clara, a dedicated entrepreneur who helps Zhao navigate the complex and competitive business environment.
