In Golden Orchestra!, Chizuru (Anne Watanabe) embarks on a new chapter of her life as the new teacher at Umega High School. With a passion for playing the violin, she joins an amateur orchestra at the local cultural hall. However, due to a mix-up, Chizuru mistakenly enrolls in the group of elderly musicians instead of the one she intended to join.

As Chizuru discovers her error, she becomes hesitant to inform the members of the orchestra. Seeing their excitement and joy at having a young person join their group, she decides to keep her mistake a secret.
