Barabbas, a notorious thief and rebel, is awaiting his crucifixion alongside Jesus Christ in Jerusalem. As the crowd demands Pilate to release one prisoner during the Passover festival, Pilate cleverly presents Barabbas as a choice, believing the crowd would choose to save Jesus. However, to Pilate's surprise, the crowd demands Barabbas's release, and he is set free.
