In the land of Britannia, Bowen, a skilled but disillusioned knight, makes a living by staging dragon slayings for villages terrorized by fearsome creatures. However, unbeknownst to the villagers, Bowen secretly spares the lives of the dragons and only pretends to kill them. He believes that the extinction of dragons will bring peace to the realm.
One day, Bowen encounters a dragon named Draco, the last of his kind. To Bowen's surprise, Draco can speak and has a sarcastic and witty personality.
