In Rugrats in Paris: The Movie, the Rugrats gang embarks on an exciting adventure in Paris, France. Tommy's dad, Stu Pickles, is called to the French capital to fix an amusement park's robotic Reptar, after his previous invention malfunctions spectacularly.

The Rugrats, including Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil, and Dil, eagerly join their parents on the trip. Upon arriving in Paris, they become acquainted with Coco LaBouche, the deceptive and scheming executive of the amusement park. She hires Stu to repair the Reptar robot but secretly has ulterior motives.

Coco LaBouche is determined to marry her way to the top of the company and needs to impress her boss within a week. However, her boss informs her that family values are crucial to the company, which prompts Coco to devise a plan. She spots Chuckie's widowed father, Chas, and decides to use him to establish her perfect family image. Coco hatches a plot to marry Chas and become Chuckie's new mother, thereby securing her position in the company.

With the help of a new friend they meet in Paris, Kimi Watanabe-Finster, the gang ventures deeper into the amusement park, uncovering Coco's true intentions. Together, the Rugrats must outsmart Coco, save Chas from a forced marriage, and protect their own unique family bonds.
