As 12-year-old Sam arrives at summer scout camp with his pack, he excitedly tells his fellow scouts about the monster he is convinced he will encounter in the woods. However, most of the other scouts dismiss his wild imagination and taunt him for his overactive fantasy world.
Undeterred, Sam sets out to prove the existence of the monster by exploring the depths of the woods on his own.
