In the movie Fighting For The Motherland 1162, after the death of their commander Geng Jing, Xin Qiji and his 50 loyal subordinates are faced with a daunting task. With the enemy army led by Wanyan Basu consisting of 50,000 soldiers, their chances of victory seem slim.

Despite the overwhelming odds, Xin Qiji refuses to back down. He gathers his loyal subordinates and devises a plan to rally the remaining troops and restore their morale. Realizing that they cannot defeat the Jin army head-on, Xin Qiji decides to resort to guerilla warfare tactics.

With their knowledge of the terrain and the assistance of local villagers who have been suffering under the Jin army's rule, Xin Qiji's small band of warriors launch a series of surprise attacks on the Jin forces. They target their supply lines, disrupt communication networks, and strike at strategic locations, inflicting heavy casualties on the enemy.

Their success in these guerilla tactics begins to shake the morale of the Jin army, as they face constant harassment and are unable to maintain control over the occupied territories. The local population also rises up against the oppressors, joining Xin Qiji's cause and further weakening the Jin army's hold.

As the tide begins to turn in favor of the Southern Song Dynasty, Xin Qiji and his loyal subordinates become a symbol of hope and resistance for the people. Their bravery and determination inspire others to join their cause, forming a larger rebel army dedicated to driving out the Jurchen Jin Dynasty and reclaiming their lost land.

Through their relentless warfare and strategic superiority, Xin Qiji and his loyal subordinates lead the rebellion to numerous victories, gradually weakening the Jin army's strength and resolve. With each passing battle, they inch closer to their ultimate goal of expelling the invaders and reunifying the country under the Southern Song Dynasty.

The movie Fighting For The Motherland 1162 showcases the resilience and courage of Xin Qiji and his companions, highlighting their unwavering dedication to their cause and their sacrifice to liberate their homeland from oppression.
