The Belko Experiment is a psychological horror thriller film that centers around the story of eighty employees working in a high-rise office building located in Bogotá, Colombia. The employees, mostly American nationals, find themselves trapped inside their workplace when the building's security system is activated, blocking any attempts to escape.

As panic and confusion set in, an unknown voice comes over the building's loudspeaker system, revealing that the employees are the subjects of a sadistic experiment. They are ordered to participate in a deadly game where they must kill each other in order to survive. The voice warns that failure to comply with the rules will result in dire consequences.

Initially, the employees dismiss the instructions as a sick prank, but when metal barriers cover the building's windows and doors and an explosive device kills two of their colleagues as a warning, they realize the seriousness of the situation. They are soon given a deadline and are forced to comply with the voice's instructions, forced to turn against each other.

As tensions rise and alliances form, the employees are confronted with the brutal reality of the experiment. Some struggle to maintain their morality and refuse to play the game, while others descend into madness and embrace the savage nature of the situation.

Among the main characters are Mike Milch, a responsible and level-headed employee who emerges as one of the leaders; Barry Norris, the office's no-nonsense COO who reluctantly takes charge and makes tough decisions; Leandra, an employee who organizes an escape plan but is caught in the midst of chaos, and Dany Wilkins, a security guard determined to protect his fellow employees.

As the body count rises and paranoia spreads, the survivors desperately search for a way out, scouring the building for any means of breaking free. However, they soon discover that even attempting to defy the experiment leads to potentially lethal consequences.

Facing increasingly difficult decisions and weighed down by the moral quandary of killing their coworkers, the remaining employees must confront the darkness within themselves, challenging their humanity and sanity. The Belko Experiment delves into themes of human nature, survival instincts, and the lengths people are willing to go when faced with extreme circumstances.

Ultimately, the film reaches a climactic and shocking conclusion as the survivors uncover the twisted motives behind the experiment and confront the figure behind the voice. The Belko Experiment is a chilling exploration of the darkest aspects of human nature and the fight for survival in an enclosed and oppressive environment.
