Crossroads: One Two Jaga is a Malaysian action-drama film that delves into the gritty reality of life in Kuala Lumpur's underbelly. The movie follows the lives of various individuals who are entangled in a web of money troubles, corruption, and moral dilemmas.

The first protagonist is Hussein, a rookie police officer assigned to a team combatting illegal immigration. Struggling to make ends meet, Hussein finds himself torn between upholding the law and accepting bribes from human traffickers. His integrity is put to the test as he witnesses the exploitation of undocumented immigrants.

Meanwhile, the second protagonist, Sugiman, is an Indonesian immigrant working illegally as a security guard. Desperate to provide for his family back home, Sugiman becomes increasingly entangled in a criminal syndicate involved in smuggling and extortion. As his involvement deepens, Sugiman's conscience is burdened by guilt and the constant fear of getting caught.

The lives of these two men collide when Hussein captures an Indonesian child without proper documentation during a raid. Sugiman's illicit activities come to light, and he becomes indebted to Hussein, who uses this leverage to force him into becoming an informant.

As the story unfolds, the film exposes the systemic corruption within the police force and the immense struggles faced by undocumented immigrants. Hussein is faced with a moral dilemma as he must choose between helping Sugiman and protecting his own career, while Sugiman battles to free himself from the grip of the criminal syndicate.

Throughout the film, their paths intersect with several other characters who are also trying to navigate the harsh reality of Kuala Lumpur's outskirts. These characters include an ambitious young gangster seeking power, a disillusioned immigration officer, a single mother struggling to provide for her child, and a human trafficker who is haunted by his own violent past.

As tensions rise and desperation sets in, the paths of these characters intertwine, leading to a climactic and tragic showdown. Crossroads: One Two Jaga explores themes of poverty, corruption, and the ethical dilemmas faced by individuals when their backs are against the wall, ultimately highlighting the harsh realities of survival in Kuala Lumpur's back-alleys and outskirts.
