In the movie Barbie in Rock 'N Royals, Princess Courtney and rock star Erika, who come from two completely different worlds, accidentally switch places due to a mix-up at Camp Pop and Camp Royalty.

Princess Courtney, a well-mannered and proper princess, finds herself at Camp Pop, a summer camp for aspiring musicians. At first, she is uncomfortable and overwhelmed by the lively and loud atmosphere of the camp. However, she gradually begins to embrace her inner rock star and joins the camp's band.

Meanwhile, Erika, a talented musician and pop star, finds herself at Camp Royalty, a traditional summer camp for princesses-to-be. She struggles to fit in and adapt to the camp's strict rules and formalities. However, with determination and her musical skills, Erika manages to create a harmonious environment at the camp.

As the girls navigate their new surroundings, they encounter challenges and prejudices from their respective campmates. But they also open each other's eyes to new perspectives and experiences. Courtney teaches the Camp Pop musicians about teamwork, grace, and etiquette, while Erika introduces the Camp Royalty princesses to the joy of music and self-expression.

However, problems arise when the girls discover a plan to permanently merge Camp Pop and Camp Royalty into one, eliminating the unique experiences and education that each camp offers. Determined to save both camps, Courtney and Erika come together with their newfound friends and use their talents to organize a show that showcases the best of both worlds.

Through their combined efforts, they manage to convince the camp leaders and the attendees that both musical and traditional skills are valuable. In the end, the camps remain separate but learn to appreciate and respect each other's differences. Courtney and Erika, having grown as individuals, become lifelong friends and create a lasting impact on both camps.

Barbie in Rock 'N Royals highlights the importance of friendship, acceptance, and the power of music. It shows that embracing diversity and learning from different cultures can create harmony and make a positive change in the world.
