As Karl Thomasson begins his investigation, he quickly realizes that his brother's death is linked to a powerful drug lord named Rene LaFranco (David Jensen). Karl discovers that LaFranco is using the school as a front for his criminal operations and is exploiting the students by turning them into drug couriers.
Under the guise of being a substitute teacher, Karl decides to take matters into his own hands to bring justice to his brother's murder and protect the students from further harm. He starts by assembling a group of rebellious and troubled students, forming an alliance to take down LaFranco and his gang.
