Aftermath is a psychological thriller film that follows the disturbing and twisted life of one particular mortician, named Jacob, who develops an obsessive and perverse relationship with the deceased bodies in his care.

As the last mortician to leave for the night, Jacob indulges in his morbid desires by secretly exploring the corpses in the mortuary. He becomes fixated on a young woman named Emily, who tragically passed away in a car crash. Consumed by his morbid fascination, Jacob starts to cross boundaries and engage in increasingly disturbing acts with Emily's body.
