In the city of Zootopia, where anthropomorphic animals live in harmony, Judy Hopps, a small rabbit with big dreams, becomes the first of her kind to join the Zootopia Police Department. Despite facing skepticism and prejudice from her larger and stronger colleagues, Judy is determined to prove her worth as a police officer.

Assigned to parking duty by Chief Bogo, Judy feels underestimated and yearns for an opportunity to work on a real case. Her chance comes when animals begin mysteriously disappearing from Zootopia. She discovers that the predator-prey dynamic, which has long been suppressed, is resurfacing and causing tension among the citizens.

Judy's enthusiasm leads her to confront the missing mammals case head-on, even against the chief's orders. To her dismay, Chief Bogo assigns her only 48 hours to find the missing otter or face resignation. In a desperate attempt to solve the case within the given timeframe, Judy blackmails and enlists the help of Nick Wilde, a cunning and sly fox known for his scamming skills.

Reluctantly, Nick agrees to assist Judy in exchange for a favor. They both venture into Zootopia's underbelly, where they encounter a secret and secluded district run by a gang of savage animals known as the "nighthowlers." They discover that some animals have been forcibly drugged using toxic flowers called nighthowlers, causing them to revert to their primal instincts.

Judy and Nick gradually learn how the conspiracy behind the missing mammals case reaches higher up than they initially anticipated. As they delve deeper into the investigation, they uncover a corrupt scheme involving Assistant Mayor Bellwether, a seemingly innocent sheep with political aspirations. Bellwether, wanting to maintain her power, has been orchestrating the predator-prey tension by using the nighthowlers to frame predators for the crimes.

Realizing the gravity of the situation, Judy and Nick work together to expose Bellwether's plan and restore harmony between the predator and prey communities. Through their collaboration and determination, they manage to bring justice to Zootopia, exposing Bellwether's true intentions to the public and saving the drugged predators.

Judy's success in solving the case not only earns her the respect of her fellow officers but also highlights the importance of unity and understanding in society. She becomes a symbol of change, proving that anyone can overcome stereotypes and discrimination to achieve their dreams, no matter their size or species.
