After Megamind and Minion sell off their evil gadgets, they realize that they might have made a mistake by getting rid of everything. Megamind, now a reformed supervillain and defender of Metro City, starts to miss his evil side and the excitement of his former life.
One day, while sorting through the remaining items in their lair, Megamind discovers a mysterious button. Intrigued by its simplicity, he decides to press it, completely unaware of the consequences.
