In the film "Claire's Camera," Manhee, an assistant film sales agent attending the Cannes Film Festival, is suddenly accused of being dishonest by her boss and subsequently fired. Feeling devastated and unsure of her next steps, Manhee finds solace in exploring the city on her own.

During one of her wanderings, Manhee encounters Claire, a high school teacher from Paris who is also attending the festival. Claire is fascinated by capturing moments through her Polaroid camera and strikes up a conversation with Manhee. The two women quickly bond and realize they share similar experiences of feeling misunderstood and marginalized.
