In the film Nailed, the couple running the roadside garage are named Jack and Rachel. They have been struggling to make ends meet with their business for years. Their livelihood takes a major hit when a construction site sets up nearby, bringing along a large number of trucks going in and out of the area.

One day, Jack accidentally discovers that metal scraps from the construction trucks end up on the road, causing flat tires for passing vehicles. Realizing the potential opportunity, the couple decides to scatter the metal scraps strategically in order to deliberately flatten tires. They come up with a plan to profit from all the tire-changing business that will follow.

As more and more drivers fall victim to flat tires near their garage, Jack and Rachel's business starts to flourish. The once-struggling couple now finds themselves overwhelmed with customers needing tire replacements. The increased cash inflow helps them pay off their debts and improve their living conditions.

However, as they continue their scheme, they begin to face some unexpected consequences. Local law enforcement begins to notice the unusually high number of tire incidents in the area, and an investigation is launched. The couple finds themselves at the center of suspicion, putting their newfound success and freedom in jeopardy.

Meanwhile, Rachel feels guilty about their fraudulent activities and the potential harm they may have caused to others. She begins to question the morality of their actions, leading to conflicts within their relationship. Jack, however, justifies their behavior, arguing that they are merely taking advantage of a situation created by the construction trucks.

As the investigation intensifies, the couple's cover starts to unravel. Ultimately, they must decide whether to come clean and face the consequences or continue with their tire-changing scheme. In doing so, they confront their own values and the true meaning of success and happiness.

The film Nailed explores themes of morality, love, and the lengths people are willing to go in order to secure their livelihood. It delves into the complexity of human nature and the challenging decisions we sometimes face in pursuit of our goals.
