Caroline Waverly, a renowned violinist, decides to take a break from her successful music career and returns to her small hometown of Innocence, Mississippi. She intends to stay at her grandmother's estate, which she inherited, and reconnect with her roots. However, upon arriving, she quickly realizes that the tranquil town she remembers has been shaken by a series of brutal murders.

Caroline soon discovers that a serial killer is on the prowl, targeting young women in the area. As the police struggle to find any leads, tensions rise, and fear engulfs the community.
