In the movie Pet, Seth, a socially awkward and emotionally disturbed man, becomes completely obsessed with Holly, a woman he had a brief relationship with years ago. Fuelled by his unhealthy fixation, Seth kidnaps Holly and holds her captive in a small, soundproofed cell hidden in the basement of the animal shelter where he works.
Holly initially fights back, desperately trying to escape Seth's clutches, but as time passes, she realizes her only chance for survival is to manipulate Seth, exploiting his deep-rooted psychological issues and insecurities.
