In "An Act of War," the war veteran, named David, is haunted by his experiences on the battlefield and suffers from insomnia and undiagnosed PTSD. To make ends meet, he takes up a job as a projectionist at an old and rundown theater that operates mostly during nighttime.

David's days are mostly spent in isolation, as he struggles to adapt to civilian life and cope with his inner demons. The theater becomes his solace, but soon, he begins to experience strange occurrences within its walls. Mysterious noises, unexplained shadows, and odd encounters start to unravel his already fragile psyche.

One night, while working alone, David discovers a hidden door behind the projection booth, leading to a hidden room. In this room, he stumbles upon a collection of old, classified military documents and personal belongings of a woman named Sarah. Intrigued, David starts to dig deeper into Sarah's life, trying to uncover the truth behind her connection to the theater and the dark secrets it holds.

His investigation leads him into a dangerous path, as he becomes entangled in a web of seduction, addiction, and violence. He meets a seductive and mysterious woman named Elena, who claims to have a connection to Sarah. As David's obsession with Sarah's story intensifies, he finds himself irresistibly drawn to Elena, who seems to have her own hidden agenda.

As David dives further into the mystery, he discovers that Sarah was an undercover agent involved in a covert operation during the war. David's search for the truth puts him in the crosshairs of dangerous individuals who will stop at nothing to keep their secrets buried. He must confront his own demons, both internal and external, and decide how far he is willing to go for justice and closure.

Throughout the film, "An Act of War" delves deep into themes of trauma, identity, and the consequences of war. As David navigates the shadows of the theater and the darkness within himself, he must overcome his own personal battles to ultimately find redemption and peace.
