After the children arrive in Narnia, they are initially separated, with Lucy meeting the faun Mr. Tumnus, who befriends her but is eventually captured by the White Witch for aiding a human. Meanwhile, Edmund encounters the Witch and is seduced by her promises of power and authority in exchange for information about his siblings. Susan and Peter eventually find their way to Aslan, the great lion who is the rightful ruler of Narnia, and join forces with him to overthrow the Witch's oppressive regime.

As the battle between Aslan's forces and the Witch's minions rages on, Edmund realizes the error of his ways and helps his siblings and the creatures of Narnia defeat the Witch. However, the treacherous Edmund is sacrificed to save his life after he is mortally wounded by the Witch.

In a stirring act of sacrifice and redemption, Aslan offers himself in Edmund's place and is killed by the White Witch on the Stone Table. But Aslan's sacrifice is not in vain, as he is resurrected by the power of the Deep Magic and leads his army to victory against the Witch.

With the Witch defeated and spring restored to Narnia, the Pevensie siblings are crowned as the new kings and queens of the land. Aslan bids them farewell, promising that he will always be there to guide and protect them whenever they need him.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is a tale of courage, sacrifice, redemption, and the triumph of good over evil, and reminds us that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope and the promise of a brighter future.
