"A Separation" is an Iranian drama film directed by Asghar Farhadi. The story revolves around a middle-class couple, Nader and Simin, who are married and have an 11-year-old daughter named Termeh.
Simin wants to leave Iran with Termeh and move abroad to provide a better future for their daughter.
