"Coffin Homes" is a satirical horror anthology that delves into the dark underbelly of a city plagued by an eternal housing problem. The film explores the lives of individuals residing in micro dwellings called cubicle apartments or coffin homes, which are extremely cramped living spaces.

The first segment of the movie follows Uncle Kong, a middle-aged man struggling to make ends meet. He lives in a coffin home, where he can barely stretch his limbs. Uncle Kong discovers a mysterious key hidden within the walls of his minuscule living space. As he unravels the secret behind the key, he inadvertently opens a portal to a parallel dimension inhabited by vengeful spirits. These spirits seek revenge on the living, as they were once victims of a corrupt and exploitative housing system. Uncle Kong and the other tenants must now face these supernatural threats and find a way to close the portal before it engulfs the entire city.

In the second segment, we meet Mei Ling, a resourceful young woman determined to improve her living conditions. She discovers a hidden society known as "The Architects," who control the city's housing crisis. Mei Ling infiltrates their organization and uncovers their sinister agenda. The Architects have been deliberately perpetuating the housing problem to maintain control over the masses. Mei Ling embarks on a dangerous journey to expose their secrets and liberate the city's struggling inhabitants.

Finally, we follow Simon, a documentary filmmaker intrigued by the tragic stories of coffin home residents. Determined to document their experiences, he rents a coffin home and immerses himself in their world. However, he soon realizes that the residents are not the only threats within these cramped spaces. Simon becomes haunted by malevolent spirits, unleashed by the sufferings of previous tenants. Struggling to maintain his sanity, he uncovers a shocking truth buried within the history of the coffin homes, ultimately leading him to confront his own darkest fears.

"Coffin Homes" is a chilling social commentary that combines satire, horror elements, and thought-provoking narratives to shed light on the dire consequences of a housing crisis. It paints a haunting picture of the struggle for survival within an unforgiving urban landscape while exposing the corrupt systems that exploit vulnerable individuals.
