In Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Claire Dearing (played by Bryce Dallas Howard), now a dinosaur rights activist, learns that the dormant volcano on the island of Isla Nublar, where Jurassic World was located, is about to erupt. The eruption threatens the existence of the remaining dinosaurs on the island. Determined to save them from an impending extinction, Claire reaches out to Owen Grady (played by Chris Pratt), the former Velociraptor trainer, for assistance.
An affluent businessman named Benjamin Lockwood (played by James Cromwell) approaches Claire with a compelling proposition.
