In the movie "Solomon and Sheba," the plot unfolds with the aging King David wanting to name his younger son, Solomon, as his successor. However, his elder son, Prince Adonijah, fueled by ambition and the support of his general, Joab, declares himself as the new king. This creates a conflict within the kingdom as the power struggle intensifies.

When King David learns of Adonijah's actions, he publicly announces Solomon as his chosen successor. This further enrages Adonijah and Joab, prompting them to withdraw in anger. Meanwhile, Israel continues to prosper under Solomon's wise and benevolent rule, creating a threat to neighboring tyrannical monarchs, including the Pharaoh of Egypt.

In an attempt to undermine and weaken Solomon's reign, the Pharaoh agrees to cede a Red Sea port to the Queen of Sheba, who becomes a key player in the plot. The Queen of Sheba, with the intention of seducing Solomon and introducing Sheban pagan worship into Jerusalem, enters into a secret alliance with the Pharaoh.

At the same time, Prince Adonijah, who has been banished, also conspires with the Pharaoh. In exchange for his loyalty, Adonijah is granted an army by the Pharaoh to defeat Solomon and reclaim the throne for himself.

As tensions rise, Solomon's strength and wisdom are put to the test. He must defend his kingdom, resist the temptation presented by the Queen of Sheba, and face the formidable threat posed by Adonijah and his Egyptian-backed army.

The movie follows the intertwined narratives of ambition, betrayal, love, and power as Solomon navigates through the treacherous path laid before him. It showcases his determination to protect Israel, maintain peace, and stay true to his divine calling as the chosen ruler. Ultimately, the story culminates in a climactic battle between Solomon's forces and Adonijah's army, where the fate of the kingdom hangs in the balance.
