As Kermit and his newfound friends travel to Hollywood, they face various obstacles and adventures. Along the way, they encounter a used car salesman, played by Steve Martin, who tries to sell them a dilapidated vehicle. However, they manage to escape his clutches and continue their journey.

During their trip, Kermit and his friends also cross paths with a group of restless bikers led by Fozzie's cousin, who challenge them to a dance-off. Despite being initially intimidated, the Muppets showcase their unique talents and win over the bikers, adding them to their growing entourage.

As they get closer to Hollywood, Miss Piggy, who has developed romantic feelings for Kermit, tries to win his love. However, Kermit remains skeptical and focuses on his dream of making it in the entertainment industry.

However, their plans take a dramatic turn when they discover that they are being pursued by Doc Hopper, the frog-leg restaurant magnate, who wants Kermit to endorse his frog leg franchise. Determined to escape his clutches, Kermit and his friends devise a plan to fake their own deaths, hoping to finally escape Doc Hopper's relentless pursuit.

In the final moments, as the Muppets finally reach Hollywood, they manage to secure a meeting with a movie mogul who is initially uninterested in their talents. However, after witnessing their resilience and passion, he agrees to hear their pitch for a movie. The Muppets perform a heartfelt musical number, showcasing their creativity and infectious energy.

Impressed by their performance, the movie mogul decides to produce their film and offers Kermit and his friends a contract. The movie ends with the Muppets triumphantly singing and dancing, realizing that they have finally made it to Hollywood and their dreams have come true.
