In the aftermath of the atomic bombings, a group of scientists stumble upon an abandoned laboratory in Hiroshima. Inside, they find a mysterious capsule that contains the immortal heart of Frankenstein's monster, which had been transported and hidden in Japan by the Germans during World War II. Unaware of its origin, they take the heart to a different research facility, hoping to unlock its secrets and potentially harness its power for medical advancements.
As the scientists conduct experiments, they inadvertently awaken the dormant consciousness within the heart, giving rise to a new being. This being is not a replicant of the original monster but rather a young boy who possesses incredible strength, resilience, and regenerative abilities. The boy, struggling to understand his existence, escapes from the facility and roams the streets of Hiroshima.
Drawing attention from the media and the military, news spreads about the existence of this wild boy with extraordinary powers. However, the boy's unique presence attracts the attention of an ancient underground creature known as Baragon.
