The film explores his struggle to reconcile the karma associated with his job, as he believes in love, kindness, and non-violence. Chavoret deeply loves his family and constantly battles with the negative impact his job has on both his own well-being and his relationships.

Throughout the movie, Chavoret faces various challenges and encounters which test his values and beliefs. He interacts with individuals on death row, witnessing firsthand the consequences of his actions. These encounters evoke empathy and compassion within him, causing him to question the righteousness of his job and seek balance between doing what is expected of him and following his true convictions.

As the story unfolds, Chavoret's experiences and internal conflicts lead him on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth. Determined to make amends for the lives he has taken, he embarks on a mission to try and salvage some good karma by leading a life of service and redemption.
