He values artistic integrity above all else and believes in playing his blues in non-commercial settings, such as parks, where he can connect with nature and the essence of his music.

As Ghost continues his peripatetic performances, he meets and becomes intrigued by a talented singer named Jess, who has a dream of becoming a professional musician. Despite initial reservations, Ghost eventually invites Jess to join his band, seeing potential in her talent. The band starts performing together, creating a unique blend of jazz and blues.

However, their artistic endeavors face numerous challenges. Ghost's uncompromising nature clashes with the commercial world of music, causing tensions within the band and with the music industry. As Ghost and Jess navigate their musical aspirations, their personal relationship becomes increasingly complicated. They find themselves drawn to each other romantically, but their conflicting desires and ambitions create a strain on their connection.

Moreover, Ghost's masculinity is called into question when he gets involved in a violent brawl. This incident challenges his ideals and forces him to confront his own vulnerabilities and perceived notions of strength.
