Her fiancé, Elliott Carson, becomes concerned about her well-being and is determined to uncover the reasons behind her actions. He begins investigating her relationship with John Triton, a stage mentalist known for his ability to predict the future.

Through flashbacks, it is revealed that Triton starts experiencing terrifying and accurate premonitions of what is to come. His partner, Whitney Courtland, sees an opportunity to exploit Triton's unique talent for financial gain. However, Triton's frustration and guilt over his inability to prevent the events he foresees eventually lead him to abandon their act and live as a recluse.

Years later, Triton begins having new visions and realizes that the tragedies he foresaw are now targeting the Courtland family. Desperate to save them, he tries to warn them about the impending dangers. However, his warnings are met with suspicion, unbelief, and resistance. The family, having no knowledge of Triton's past, finds it difficult to trust his seemingly irrational predictions.

Despite these challenges, Triton remains determined and persistent in his efforts to prevent the tragedies from unfolding. However, he struggles against the forces of fate and the inexorable nature of events that have already been set in motion. As the story progresses, tension builds, and the characters must grapple with their own beliefs and skepticism, as well as confront the idea of an unstoppable destiny.

As the movie unfolds, viewers are taken on a journey filled with suspense, mystery, and a race against time to change the course of destiny.
