Crossroads of Life and Death

In the movie Prodigal, Kilo Thompson is a young man from Decatur, GA, who finds himself caught between the dangerous street life and his desire to create a better life for his wheelchair-bound little brother, Keith. Kilo, also known as "Kilo" in his neighborhood, is faced with limited options that seem to only lead to either prison or death.

As Kilo becomes more deeply involved in the street life, he experiences a series of life-threatening events that force him to reevaluate his choices. These events serve as wake-up calls for Kilo, making him realize the gravity of the path he is on.

Kilo's mother and his praying grandmother, who deeply care about him, step in to try and guide him in the right direction. They urge him to prioritize love and family over the allure of the streets, understanding that these are the pillars that can lead him to a better life.

However, Kilo finds himself at a crossroads, torn between his loyalty to the streets and his love for his family. He must make difficult decisions to determine which direction he should take, or which direction will ultimately take him.
