In the movie Dancer, Texas Pop. 81, the four best friends - Squirrel, John, Terrell, and Keller - are about to graduate from high school in their small town of Dancer, Texas. As promised, they had made a pact to leave their town together after graduation to pursue their dreams and escape the confines of their small-town life.
