In the movie "Crackers," Garvey, the owner of a pawnshop in San Francisco, leaves town, providing an opportunity for his unemployed and criminal friends Dillard, Turtle, and Weslake to pull off a heist in his shop. The trio decides to collaborate with Boardwalk, a local pimp, to carry out the burglary.

As the planning process unfolds, Dillard unexpectedly falls in love with a Hispanic woman who happens to be the sister of one of his friends. This romantic entanglement adds a twist to the story and adds some complexity to the group dynamics. Similarly, Boardwalk, while casing a local apartment as part of their plan, meets and falls for the maid working there, further complicating matters.

Amidst these romantic escapades, Weslake diligently puts together a detailed plan for the burglary. The group, driven by their shared objective, carries out the heist using the plan devised by Weslake. Their operation is filled with comedic moments and unexpected obstacles, showcasing their amateurish approach to crime.

Throughout the course of the film, the characters navigate the challenges of their personal relationships and deal with the unexpected complications that arise. As the heist is executed, the group is forced to confront their own flaws and faulty teamwork, which ignites further hilarity and unforeseen circumstances.

"Crackers" is a lighthearted and humorous movie that combines elements of comedy, romance, and crime. It showcases the mishaps and follies of a group of unlikely allies who find themselves entangled in a web of love and thievery.
