In "How to Murder Your Wife," Stanley Ford, the internationally known cartoonist behind the Bash Brannigan series, enjoys a carefree and luxurious lifestyle as a bachelor. His creation, a suave super spy named Bash Brannigan, reflects his own take on an ideal man.

After attending a stag party with his close friend and lawyer Harold Lampson, Stanley wakes up the following morning with a shock. He discovers that he is married to a stunning woman named Mrs. Edna Ford, whom he met at the party. However, the twist is that she doesn't speak a word of English.

Initially, Stanley is appalled by the sudden change in his life and tries to find a way out of the marriage, even consulting Harold to annul their union. However, Mrs. Ford's loving and endearing nature begins to melt Stanley's heart, and he gradually begins to enjoy married life.

As Stanley adapts to married life, he notices that his readership for the Bash Brannigan series is dwindling. Inspired by his newfound experiences as a husband, he decides to transform his popular cartoon character. Bash Brannigan becomes a reflection of Stanley himself, a somewhat harried and charming husband who navigates the joys and challenges of married life.

The movie delves into the humorous and often absurd situations Stanley finds himself in as he navigates his marriage to a woman with whom he cannot communicate verbally. Their misadventures are a source of entertainment as Stanley tries to bridge the communication gap and maintain a strong bond with his wife. Meanwhile, he must also navigate the challenges of his professional life and the pressures to create captivating content for his audience.

Amidst the comedic moments, "How to Murder Your Wife" explores themes of love, commitment, and the transformation that can occur when one opens themselves up to unexpected experiences.
