Additionally, they decide to take part in a "Teen Talk-back" session, which is designed to help them process their grief through the lens of their faith. However, their journey towards healing takes an unexpected turn during an innocent kissing exercise, as Carrie discovers her unexpected attraction towards another girl at the gathering.

This newfound attraction creates immense internal turmoil for Carrie, whose world is now turned inside out. As she grapples with her burgeoning sexuality, she begins to question her own identity and beliefs, particularly when it comes to her wavering faith. This quandary not only complicates her personal relationship with Hannah but also adds to the already complex teenage struggles of social status and rampant lust.
