"Piku" is a Bollywood comedy-drama movie that revolves around the journey of a cab driver named Rana Chaudhary who finds himself caught in the middle of a dysfunctional relationship between a father and his daughter.

The father, Bhaskor Banerjee, is an eccentric and hypochondriac old man who suffers from chronic constipation. He is portrayed as a stubborn, grumpy, and often difficult man to deal with. Piku, his strong-willed and independent daughter, is a 30-year-old architect who struggles to balance her personal and professional life while simultaneously taking care of her father's needs and managing his constant demands.

As the story unfolds, Bhaskor expresses his desire to visit his childhood home in Calcutta (now Kolkata). Piku decides to accompany him on this road trip, and they hire Rana, a patient and understanding cab driver, for the long journey.

The road trip not only tests Rana's patience but also provides an opportunity for the characters to confront and deal with their personal issues. Throughout the trip, they encounter various obstacles, including Bhaskor's insistence on discussing his bowel movements, his constant criticism of Piku's lifestyle choices, and clashes between his personality and Rana's more easygoing nature.

Along the way, Rana develops a bond with the duo, acting as a mediator and offering various insights into their dysfunctional relationship. He also helps Piku become more self-aware, guiding her to recognize her own desires and needs apart from just taking care of her father's.

As they continue their journey, the trio encounters situations that challenge their perspectives on life, family, and relationships, leading to poignant and often comedic moments. The movie addresses themes such as aging, family dynamics, love, and the importance of communication and understanding.

Ultimately, the journey to Calcutta becomes a transformative experience for all three characters, helping them grow and find a better understanding of themselves and their relationships.
