Dave is a talented yet frustrated artist who is dissatisfied with his lack of success and recognition. In an attempt to escape his own creative block, he decides to build a cardboard fort in his living room, thinking it will be a temporary project. However, as Dave begins constructing the fort, pouring his heart and imagination into it, something inexplicable happens.
