In Saw V, Detective Hoffman, a key member of the Jigsaw "games," finds his secret identity at risk of being exposed. As he tries to stay one step ahead, a new game is set in motion by Jigsaw's successor, exposing multiple individuals to elaborate traps and life-or-death situations.
