Mia, the main protagonist, decides to go to a remote cabin in the woods with her brother David, and their friends Eric, Olivia, and Natalie to support her in her efforts to overcome her addiction to drugs. Their plan is to stay in the cabin for a few days, isolated from the outside world.
Upon arriving at the cabin, the group discovers a mysterious Book of the Dead, bound in human flesh and written in blood. Ignoring the warnings written in the book, Eric, who is fascinated by ancient texts, begins reading an incantation from it aloud. Unbeknownst to them, this act awakens hidden demonic forces lurking in the woods.
As the group settles in, strange occurrences begin to transpire. Mia becomes increasingly paranoid, experiencing horrifying visions, and feeling a sinister presence surrounding her. Despite her friends' growing concern, she attributes it to her withdrawal symptoms.
With each passing day, the demonic forces become stronger and more aggressive, possessing the cabin inhabitants one by one.
