Drama   South Korea

In the movie "My 11th Mother," the cynical young boy, Dong-Hoon, reluctantly gets to know his father's latest girlfriend, Yoon-Hee. Dong-Hoon's father is known for his irresponsible behavior and frequent change of partners, causing Dong-Hoon to have a negative outlook on relationships.

As Dong-Hoon spends more time with Yoon-Hee, he begins to see a different side to her. Yoon-Hee genuinely cares for Dong-Hoon and tries her best to connect with him. She listens to his problems, supports his dreams, and even helps him with his schoolwork.

Gradually, Dong-Hoon's cynicism starts to fade, and he begins to appreciate Yoon-Hee's presence in his life. He realizes that Yoon-Hee is unlike his father's previous girlfriends, who were mostly interested in his father's wealth and status. Yoon-Hee is kind, patient, and tries her best to create a healthy and stable environment for Dong-Hoon.

However, despite Dong-Hoon's growing attachment to Yoon-Hee, his father starts to distance himself from her, as he often does with his previous relationships. This leaves Dong-Hoon worried and fearful that Yoon-Hee will leave just like everyone else in his life.

Determined to hold onto the potential stability Yoon-Hee brings, Dong-Hoon takes it upon himself to mend the broken relationship between his father and Yoon-Hee. He tries to convince his father to treat Yoon-Hee better and appreciate her for who she is, rather than dismissing her like before.

As the story progresses, Dong-Hoon's efforts pay off, and his father slowly starts to realize the value of Yoon-Hee's love and support. Through their joint efforts, Dong-Hoon's father learns to become a more responsible and caring partner.

"My 11th Mother" portrays the journey of a young boy who, despite his initial cynicism, finds hope in the possibility of a stable and loving relationship. It highlights the importance of trust, understanding, and communication within a family and the transformative power of genuine love.
