A Fortunate Man, based on the novel by Henrik Pontoppidan, follows the life of Per Sidenius, a young man determined to find happiness outside the confines of his strict religious upbringing. After leaving his family in Jutland, Per moves to Copenhagen to pursue his dream of becoming an engineer.
While studying engineering, Per becomes fascinated with renewable energy and develops a visionary project centered around harnessing wind and wave energy.
