In the movie "Curve", the young woman named Mallory Rutledge is driving alone on a deserted mountain road. Along the way, she spots a hitchhiker on the side of the road holding a sign that reads "Crested Butte". Feeling sorry for him, Mallory decides to give him a ride.
As they drive, Mallory engages in small talk with the hitchhiker, but she starts to get an uneasy feeling about him. Her suspicions grow stronger when she notices him acting strangely and making cryptic comments about her life. Panicking, Mallory realizes she has made a terrible mistake.
