In the movie "Red State," a group of teenagers from Middle America receive an online invitation for casual sex. Excited about the prospect, they agree to meet up with the mysterious stranger who extends the invitation. However, their intentions quickly become questionable when they arrive at their destination - a secluded house in a rural area.

As the teenagers enter the house, they quickly realize that they have been lured into a trap set by a radical and violent Christian fundamentalist group. Led by the enigmatic preacher Abin Cooper, the group believes in their extreme interpretation of morality and actively engages in acts of terrorism to further their agenda.

Instead of engaging in consensual sex, the teens find themselves held captive and subjected to a horrifying sermon by Abin Cooper. Meanwhile, an ATF (Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms) team, led by Agent Joseph Keenan, receives a tip about the whereabouts of the radical group and decides to raid their compound.

The ATF agents, believing they are dealing with a mere cult, underestimate the firepower and resilience of the fundamentalist group. A chaotic shootout ensues, resulting in the death of several ATF agents and cult members. In the midst of the chaos, the surviving teenagers manage to escape their captivity and desperately try to make their way out of the compound.

As the violence escalates, more factions become involved, including the local police, who find themselves caught in the crossfire. Swirling in a maelstrom of bloodshed, the movie explores themes of religious fanaticism, corruption, and the blurred lines between the righteous and the wicked.

While some of the teenagers manage to make it out alive, their ordeal is far from over. They find themselves being hunted down one by one by the remaining members of the fundamentalist group, who will stop at nothing to uphold their twisted sense of righteousness.

In a thrilling climax, the surviving teenagers must muster up their courage, intelligence, and resourcefulness to confront and ultimately defeat the violent fundamentalists, before they become the next victims in the group's sinister agenda.

"Red State" is a gritty, fast-paced, and thought-provoking movie that delves into the dark side of fanaticism and the lengths people will go to protect their beliefs.
